Quints were cool ( You know the drums with 4 or 5 drums), Snares were better, because you can make accents come out louder and when you have about 4 or 5 guys playing together it just sounds awesome. But the Bass drum is just play bad @$$ from first to last bass there are so many things to do with the bass drums, plus it is not easy to carry them, espically when you are in a parade.
No, I do not play drums anymore, but when I am at work I catch myself playing some beats on the counters and making crazy beats. Too bad we do not have a drum set built or I would be on it when i get to work.

at this one store there was a great sounding yamaha drum set and it was yellow(cool) but i got what i got and i thank jesus for it but i am about to get a second drum set within the next 2 years
ant a DW drum set

I would but then my little girl would get into it and replacing the drum heads would start to get expensive. We use to have a saying in our drumline.
"Lifes a bummer without a drummer."
That is a cool saying.

I tried the base onece and used snare sticks and broke a hole into the drum and had to pay for a new one.

Well my little girl is only 18 month now, so all she wants to do it get into everything. Thank god my computer is high or I would not be on. I hope she gets into some from of after school activity so I can go and watch her in everything that she does.
