Fishing is my favorite sport. I even got my avatar to represent it. Below is a record of my biggest fish:
largemouth Bass- 14.6 pounds smallmouth Bass- 8.2 pounds Cutbow Trout- 12 pounds Brook trout- 11 pounds Brown Trout- 6 pounds Cutthroat Trout- 11 pounds Channel catfish- 28.3 pounds Flathead Catfish- 32 pounds Blue catfish- 18 pounds Crappie- 2.3 pounds Striped Bass- 19.4 pounds Northern Pike- 11 pounds Muskie- 14.2 pounds Tiger Muskie- 4 pounds bluegill- 1.7 pounds Thrasher Shark- 92 pounds String Ray- 62 pounds Halibut- 32 pounds Flounder- 16 pounds eel- 14 pounds octopus- 12 pounds Salmon- 32 pounds
That's my record book. When I fish I like to use large spinners or if I'm fishing at the bottom I will use Jigs. Or at surface fishing I use plugs or plastic frogs. I don't use live baits accept for catfish.
What is your recor book like?

Man you are awesome. I have not fished in a long time. I am looking for someone that I can go with one of these days. My Cousin has a boat, but ever time he goes I have to work. I want to try Deep Sea fishing. I know that is tough, but the rewards will be great.

lol.
I have also gone crab collecting (probably one of the hardes things to do). Crab collecting is where you go diving in about 50 foot water in the ocean. You can get 10 pound crabs so you get rewareded greatly and they are really fresh. But there isn't anything like walking at the bottom of the ocean catching crabs. And when you jump, it's like you are floating. When I jump off the side of the boat, I like to act like I'm flying and It is so much fun. And then the crabs see you and start to run in circles at the bottom. I also have a pond in my back yard. I own 40 acres of land and the pond covers 2 acres and is about 10 feet deep. But crab collecting is one of the best things ever. Once I jumped next to a reef and Those reefs are so cool looking. I wanted to walk around on it but it just broke into peices.

lol.
I have just broke my largemouth bass and channel catfish record!
largemouth Bass- 17.3 pounds! (this one took about an hour to get into the boat.) Channel Cat- 34 pounds! (This one took longer than the bass did)
The catfish I caught on accident. I was using jigs at tablerock lake and and caught the bass next to a fallen tree. The catfish I caught on a drop off. I was using bait scent so that's probably why he took my jig. Most cat's won't take lures. After catching the cat I tried to catch more but that was the only one there. I am also going to be entering a trout tournament this weekend at Bennet Springs park. It has the biggest fish hatchery in the states and they release new trout into the river every night. So the fish never run out! I will tell you how I do.

Hey everyone. I wanted to post my results on the trout tournament. I got 16th place and got $50 for placing 16th place.
There were 742 people in the Tournament.
I was fly fishing with a very large haried nimph. It was weighted and that's how I caught so many fish. I was able to get to the bottom where all of the fish were. Well here are my resulte:
Place: 16/742
Lure of choice: fly- Large brown haired nimph, size 4 hook (small weight).
Pole/reel of choice: 11ft. Fly rod with small reel.
line of choice: 14lb. test floating fly line with 4lb. test leader line (4ft.).
Fish results: 5 fish 1. 4lbs. 2. 8lbs. 3. 14lbs. 4. 11lbs. 5. 7lbs.
total weight: 34lbs
Well those are my results and I think they are very good. But I lost one that was about 10 pounds (snapped my line). That would have put me into 14th place. I am also hosting a bass tournament in my backyard pond. I have enough room for 30 people and I already have 14 signed up for it. I am charging a $4 entrance fee and for rental equiptment it's $8 each piece of equiptment (rod and reel count as one piece). And whoever wins gets half of the money that was given by the entrance fees and rentals.
