Hello everyone,
I am leaving on a camping trip to Lake Pomme de Terre for 4 days. I'm leaving early tomarrow morning so I won't be posting tomarrow.
I am going on a fishing trip with my familly, so we are going to have fun, last time I was there, I caught 43 bluegill, 4 flathead catfish, all about 8 pounds, and a few carp. So I'll be gone for 4 days, and for me, that's a lot.
So, keep the site up and running everyone, don't let it slow down.

So how was your trip? Did you get to do a lot of cool things?

well I had fun, I caught a lot of fish, and I got attacked by a squirrel! out of all the things that can attack me, a squirrel!?!?! What are the odds? but I can tell you one thing, that squirrel tasted really good. I hate it when animals attack me for no reason, and so I get back at them.
But I caught a lot of channel catfish while I was there, they were all about 4 pounds.

Sweet, when are you going to invite all of us so we can try some of your fish. I have not have fresh fish in a long time. Everything always taste better when it is fresh. Awesome job on the fish, and about the squirrel you probably got close to his nut stash. LOL, that is kind of funny.

That is cool, but I do not live anywhere close to a lake to catch my own fish, so I have to go to my local market, but it is not the same.

well that must suck! you could always have a private pond built in your yard or property.
But I'm going fishing again on Wednesday, I'm giong to Benney Springs state park, there are some big trout there.

I could but then you have to maintain the pond and I have a dog so who knows what he would do if we were to put one in.
Did you catch anything good to eat.

well, all you need are catfish, they will easilly maintain a pond, they will keep any pond really clean, and if you add minnows, they will keep the shallower areas clean, and provide some food for the catfish. and your dog would probably try to swim in it and drink from it, that's what my dogs do. and the cool think about catfish, is you can buy fish food pellets, and if you throw it onto the water they come to the surface to eat, it's fun for all kids to play with, and then you can even go fishing in your pond.
and yes, I did catch fish, I got 2 trout and my dad got one trout.

That is so cool, congrates on catching the fish.
About the pond thing, I do not think my mom would like that since we are in the city, now if we had our own land then I could see us having something like that.

thanks, but I had can understand not having a pond if you are in the city, but almost every house out here has a pond.
I can't wait until winter, because then I'm going to be able to hunt foxes and coyotees, a lot of them gather around my pond during the winter because I have ducks and it is easy to get them, and my dog has chewed up a few of my chickens and killed so and so I'm have them in the freezer and I'm going to set them out to bring it close for a good shot.

LOL, that sounds like fun. Man I wish I had snow over here. I have not seen snow in about 10 yrs. When I get out of debt I am going to move to Montana. Well, I would like to move there.

Montana might be cool, but I would suggest Missouri, you get snow every winter and hot summers, good fishing and hunting all around, and it's just a fun place to live.
I can even ride my ATV around on the roads and nobody cares, now that's fun, I go to my friend's house almost every day using the ATV.
And the fishing is really good, I love fishing the rivers, creeks, ponds, and lakes around here, it's basically, if there is water, there is fish.
And the hunting s fairly good too, I just started hunting last winter and I am really starting to get into it now, it's a lot of fun, and when you get the animal, well it's just hard to explain how you feel, you would have to experience it yourself to know.

Hmm.. Now your are going to make me think about where I want to live later on. Hey that would be cool to live where you live then we can do all of the stuff together. Now that would be cool. But like I said I am not looking to move for another 3-4 yrs. So you might be gone by then.
