hello,
do any of you people play in tournaments? I do and I had one last saturday. There was a little more than 40 people and I got second. I made this post so you can tell about how you did in a tournament you played in. Most tournaments I get 1-4 place. The last one I played, I used my burn deck. When you post, I want you to tell the place you got and what deck you used. I also wanted to tell about my exodia experience. When I was playing, I played 2 exodia decks and I won both times. But each time, if the person would have been able to draw their next turn, they would have won. I beet them both just in time. so, what about your tornaments?

I play every Sunday. Ranked in the top 75 in the state. Have regionals this Saturday. Last one there were over 200.

I played a state tournament on saturday and finished in 14th today. There was 203 people there. I was using My burn deck, I actually won a few times with my spirit reaper, they didn't have anything to play so I just kept attacking and they could't stop me. Then I get out Raging Flame Sprite and finish them off. I had a lot of fun. I won 20 packs of cards, I could have gotten a trophy if I would have gotten in the top 10. But All of the people in my area are really bad and don't play well at all. So I get most of my practice on YVD and tournaments.
Hey blue, I wanted to tell you about this deck I got beaten by in the State tournament. The guy called it a one minute deck, and there is a good reason for that name. He beat me within 30 seconds each time. It only took about 2 turns. I think he got either 1st or 2nd. He was really good.

Sounds fun. See if you can remember some of the combos and cards in the deck.

well all that he used was harpies feather duster, raigeki, giant trunade, heavy storm, Dark Hole, Don Zaloog, Need worm, Chaos emperor Dragon-Envoy, Black Luster Soldier-Envoy, Hammer shot, fissure, trap hole, and a lot of high powered monsters. He basically used a chaose field control deck with a mix with a beatdown. The tournament was without the ban list so that made it harder but I could won if it was with the ban list. I use my deck without bans even if there is a non-ban tournament.
But when I play tournaments, I don't know about everyone else, but for me, monster reincarnation is better than monster reborn since most of my monsters have flip effects.

I don't know when my next tournament will be, I need to pass a constitution test in school before I can go to any more tournaments. It is for history class and I am really bad at history, so for me this test is really hard. But All I need is a D to pass and i can't even get that. The best I've gotten was 51% and I've taken it 3 times already.
