Hello everyone, I am bluepokenut. Alot of you know me from other sites some of you dont. For those of you that dont, I am a pretty good yugioh player. I will be doing a card of the week to help everyone get better.
For my first card of the week I choose: BOOK OF THE MOON
At first glance you will think this is a pretty good card. I get to flip my man eater bug, magician of faith, ect.,back into face down defense to use again. this is one way to play it. If that was the only way to platy it, it wouldnt be that good of a card. Good for us there are other better ways to play it.
Book of the moon being quick play makes it a killer defense card. Lets say someone summons that stupid jinzo, again. You have mirror force, cylinders, ring of dis., set, of course. Now they are useless. With book of the moon set when they attack you activate book of the moon flipping 'zo face down where he can help,or hurt no one now.
Two cards that combo well with book of the moon are, you guessed it, nobleman of crossout and airknight. Play book of the monn flip your opponents monster face down then crossout it. You can summon airknight for some fun times also.
If someone tries to ring of destruction your monster play BoM, that will put a stop to that. Once you think about this card this way it will open your mind up to alot of killer combos. Not sure how the PDF will see it but, I dont see why you couldnt use it againt mirror force or cyl.You atk they flip either you play BoM your monster goes back face down. Not quite sure how that will work but I bet the ruling will cover that.
That for taking the time to read my first but not last Card Of the Week.
