This weeks card of the week is....waboku "Any damage inflicted by an opponent's monster is decreased to zero during the turn this card is activated" This was one of the greatest traps of its time. The card reads like it only stops one attack. it raelly reduces all battle damage that turn. Now with the new ruling you can use it during your your battle phase too. If you atk a monster with the same atk as yours, flip waboku first and their monster dies yours lives. So if you kamakazie your monster will live. Theirs will die. The next part will make for some discussion. Wakoku is "ALMOST" as good as mirror force and magic cylinder. No I'm not crazy. WIth the game the way it is today MST, feather duster traps dont last long on the field. How many times have you set your Mirror force, cylinder only to have it MST'ed. That stinks so made!! With waboku it can still be activated where the others cant! Big advantage there. I know they dont do the damage back to your opponents monster or destroy your opponents monsters. If you use waboku and set it early it becomes a good target for the MST. Then you just activate it. So they wasted a MST. Now does that sound better?? Useing the three cards in combo works very well. Give this old school cards another chance. You will not be sorry.

Waboku isn't just great then, it's great now. I would always suggest Waboku in every deck.

yes, I don't know why anybody would think that waboku stops your monsters from getting destroyed. But it really is a helpful card.
