I was just wondering, when you attack a face down Sangan or Emisary of the afterlife with something like a sasuke samurai, does thier effects still activate since it goes to the graveyard? I am not talking about flip effect monsters, but about monsters with innate effects. just wondering thanx!

Monsters that have flip effects are just destroyed and you wont get their effect.
Monsters that have their effect activate in the graveyard will still get their effect. Some of these monsters are...Sangan, emisarry, witch.
Monsters like mystic tomato, shining angel wont get their effect because they have to be destroyed in battle.
